#OTD in 1948, the Yankees celebrated the 25th anniversary of Yankee Stadium. 49,641 fans—including members of the 1923 team—were in attendance. Appearing at the place for the last time, here’s my painting of George Herman “Babe” Ruth, based on the iconic photography of Nat Fein.

Alongside @WHOMB, we are winning the War on Fraud. American taxpayers will no longer be forced to fund woke NGOs with partisan agendas. 🇺🇸
The freakout by those on the Left subsidized by taxpayer funds over OMB’s update of the regulation governing federal grant making tells you how important it is to keep the bureaucracies from leaking out spending that is woke, wasteful, and contra to the policies of the Trump Administration thru the NGOs. afj.org/article/federal-fund…

This OMB update to federal grant-making rules is exactly the kind of reform we needed. Taxpayer dollars should never be used as a slush fund for woke NGOs and radical causes that actively undermine America. The freakout says it all. @russvought is over the target.

Federal funding should advance America’s interests, NOT political agendas. Instead of writing blank checks, we’re upholding the law and ensuring taxpayer money actually delivers for the American people.

We had every reason to believe that Game 3 would stand as the worst officiated game in a generation. That is now in doubt.

Correct
What was the end result of Democrats’ DHS shutdown? Zero ICE reforms, and ICE and CBP are now funded with an additional $70 billion through the rest of Trump’s presidency. After negotiations fell apart in the Senate, Republicans simply went around Dems and funded Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda on their own, & Dems were powerless to stop it. And this is *on top* of the money ICE & CBP already got in the One Big Beautiful Bill last year. ICE & CBP now have more money coming to their coffers than they ever would have if there had been no DHS shutdown.

The louder you cry, the more we know OMB must be over the target.
Trump’s budget director Russ Vought is the most dangerous person you’ve never heard of. And he just proposed turning every federal grant into a loyalty test. His plan would make funding for cancer research, housing, transportation, and public health depend on one thing: whether it “advances the President’s policy priorities.” Not whether it works. Not whether Congress authorized it. Whether it pleases Trump. This is the appropriations power. It belongs to Congress and to the people. To my Republican colleagues: where are you? Congress passed this funding. You voted for it. Vought is telling you to your faces that your votes do not matter, that he and his enablers will override the law whenever it suits them. Every day you stay silent, you give away the institution you were elected to defend. Grow a spine. This is not about left or right. It is about whether Congress still exists as a coequal branch, or whether we have quietly surrendered the purse to an unelected hack who holds the Constitution in contempt. History will remember who stood up and who looked away. nytimes.com/2026/06/02/us/po…

Much dishonest hand wringing by regime mouthpiece @business and the deep state--but they make our point for us: The CFPB has the DNA of @SenWarren and those who worked there bullied business and Americans because they viewed them as political enemies. That's why under @russvought we've spent over a year cleaning up their mess of: ▪️"legal theories" that had never been used before ▪️Stasi-like threats to businesses and demanding millions from them without telling them why ▪️trying to shut down companies because the CFPB hated the 1st & 2nd Amendments Further, since its inception, the CFPB has cost the American people nearly $369 BILLION. That's an average for $1,700 extra for each originated mortgage. Still much work for us to do.
Russell Vought has gutted the CFPB, and in dozens of cases refused to enforce settlements and pursue lawsuits to the benefit of companies like Walmart, Toyota and others. bloomberg.com/features/2026-…

The Golden Age is indeed here! Kevin Warsh was an intern in the White House Counsel’s Office in 1991 and worked with me on Justice Clarence Thomas’s epic confirmation battle. Today, Justice Thomas swore in Kevin as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Thank you President Trump for making this exceptional appointment. Congratulations, Chairman Warsh!

We’re not buying into foreign shipyards—we’re having them invest in U.S. shipbuilding. By bringing their operations stateside, we can crank out our ships quicker and create over half a million American jobs. It’s time to breathe new life into our nation’s industrial base.

For 20 years, a $6 knob that takes one hour to 3D print has been grounding Black Hawk helicopters four times a month, and the contractor responsible won't sell us the part or the IP rights to fix it ourselves. So instead, American taxpayers have been paying $40,000 every single time to replace the entire system, multiplied by four times a month, for two decades. That is NOT a procurement problem, that is a shakedown, and it is exactly why right to repair has to be in this year's NDAA.

“Draining the Swamp” update: Since President Trump’s second term began, federal workforce is down ~345,000 employees, one of the LARGEST cuts since WWII. Meanwhile, the private sector added ~717,000 jobs. Less bureaucracy, more private sector growth. That's the Trump Economy!
