Modern surveillance no longer requires spies, satellites, or cyber intrusions. Sometimes it just requires a credit card and access to the data marketplace.

Earlier this year, I joined @SenErnst and a bipartisan group of lawmakers in calling attention to the national security risks posed by TP-Link devices.
Glad to see the Pentagon taking action.
The CCP has no business inside American homes, military installations, or critical infrastructure.

TP-Link also sells baby monitors and doorbell cameras used in millions of American homes. Americans should never have to worry that devices designed to protect their families could be giving the CCP access to their private lives.
That’s why we teamed up with @SenJoniErnst earlier this year to bring these Chinese companies to the FCC’s attention. It's time to close the CCP's back door into both Americans’ homes and our military bases.

More than 90 GNC stores reportedly continue to operate on U.S. military installations despite the company being owned by a Chinese firm.
I’ve pushed to close this loophole because it never made sense that a company ultimately owned by an adversarial nation could maintain a retail presence inside the gate of American military bases. Our servicemembers are constantly reminded to protect sensitive information, yet a Chinese-owned retailer has been allowed access to the very communities we ask them to defend.
American military installations exist to support readiness and national security, not provide a foothold for companies owned by our adversaries.

It's official, the Secure America Act is now law!
For 115 days, political games got in the way of funding the agencies responsible for enforcing our immigration laws. The only people hurt by that fight were the men and women doing the job and the communities counting on them.
Now @ICEgov and @CBP have the resources to hire, train, and equip the personnel needed to secure the border and enforce the law. That's a win for public safety, a win for law enforcement, and a win for the country.
