Ro is slimmed down. His cap number, however, remains quite bloated.
While his play was passable in '25 (20th of 88 LB on PFF; just don't ask him to rush the QB), it's a long way from being commensurate with his salary.
Can the new defensive regime help him return to form?

Let me say this clearly…. Harbaugh went against the Front Office with the hire of Orr. It set the defense back 2 full years because of a bad scheme and bad positional coaching.

I’ve been especially critical of Ro. However, I wouldn’t hold anything that happened last season as an exact measurement of performance last season. Let’s scratch his numbers. Start over under Minter/Weaver system. I bet we see a much different player. Glad he trimmed down. He was down right fat two years ago to start camp.

This might be a “take your medicine” year with Marlo and Roquan’s contract this year. No reason to push anything to 2027
