They have announced the second founder, and while she seems to have a far more of a prescense in the JP Vtubing side of things, which answers a lot of questions regarding why they are operating the way they are. My opinion has vastly shifted. This post is a HUGE red flag, and I feel the need to now say PLEASE BE SO CAREFUL when applying to this group. They are effectively trying to gaslight you with this post!! I am so happy I took a screenshot of the original application.
They have since changed the wording in their application, and this post is stating that they mentioned in the application that they are willing to help with funding when the original application did not have this!! You can see the differences in the photos below.

Hello everyone, we wanted to address some valid concerns regarding the pricing of the new vtuber model you would have to get if accepted in our group.
First of all, we want to specify that the base price of a model with our artist isοΏ₯290,000, about $1800 USD.
The reason we put an estimate of $3000 USD is because Lotus's model cost about this much with a lot of additional toggles, items and extra expressions not included in the price.
You are not expected to get any of these, and it was a mistake to put that high of an estimate on our form. We just didn't want accepted applicants to be surprised by fees if they wanted extra details for their models.
We know that even at 1.8k, the price is not feasible for everyone. But we can assure you that we are not a scam and that Ainy is a trustworthy artist that pours her heart into the models she creates. She is linked in the bio and you can see her models and art for yourself.
We also mentioned that we could help out with the models financing if needed! But since we are a group and not an agency, the other members also have to pay for their own models and assets, so a full payment is not possible for us.
Once again. We are real people that just want to create a fun aesthetically pleasing group for people to enjoy. We also know this group won't please everyone and that's ok! We are also not going into this with no preparations, we have plans for this group to last a long time.
We kindly request to please ask questions or check us out before commenting speculations. Warning others about shady projects is super valid! But it's better to get the actual truth.

Maybe I'm too woke but this is valid criticism. Fortnite is incredibly pro-AI and has collaborated with multiple people that are openly homophobic (including Burnt Peanut in the upcoming season). Fortnite should absolutely be boycotted and I don't get why everyone supports them.

No joke, this is #1 way VTubers, streamers, and content creators are getting hacked right now. The Discord message "download this Minecraft mod/client/join this server" from compromised accounts is so common recently, every week I see posts like this. Verify before downloading!
ALT A diagram explaining how session token/cookie theft works. The attacker first sends a discord message requesting download of a client/mod/game. You, the user, downloads it and runs it. Once ran it automatically scrapes your tokens, sends them to the attacker, and the attacker loads these into the browser with full access to your accounts.

i think this was late 2020/2021. I was invited to a collab by someone who was a mod for another big vtuber. A friend of mine was also invited. My friend had some very *minor* technical difficulties that were easily solvable. ->
Do you guys have any bad collab experiences?
My worst one was a couple years ago with a VTuber. We were supposed to play Valorant together, but something came up on their end. They canceled less than an hour before we were scheduled to go live. I get that emergencies happen, so I reached out to reschedule⦠and got completely ghosted. A short while later, they even unfollowed me.
We had similar-sized audiences, so it wasnβt like I was a nobody to them. I was just left hanging with nothing. I hope they were okay, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
