The 10th wears two faces depending on the day’s routing. Under the 'Colt' routing it’s a par 5, whereas the 'Abercromby' has it as a short par 4. Whichever way it plays, the hole thrives on risk and reward, baiting the scratch player into a decision that can quickly turn sour.

111 years between these photos. The back section of green was abandoned soon after it was built. We’ve been working hard to bring it back to life. Can’t wait to play it!

Ryan explains how under the Colt routing, the third will play as a par 4 once the new teeing areas open. What a great short hole this will be.

The team has been hard at work renovating the new third tees, designed to flow naturally into the surrounds of the second green and offer a range of options for this uphill hole that can now play between 150 and 255 yards.

Replying to @PGATOUR
@PGATOUR Playoffs need to figure out their format. Better players have an advantage the longer golf goes on, so turning the 3 separate events into one, 12-round event spread over 3 weekends has to be worth considering 🤔 Leaderboard atm would be: Fleetwood -38 Scheffler -36 🤷

Now Scheffler -42 Fleetwood -41 😬

"The Addington is one of the finest examples of a golf course where the land itself dictates the design, and it is a joy to work with. The natural beauty and challenge it offers are unparalleled." - Harry Colt.

Have you noticed how seemingly all the pros on TV hitting on the range these days use a GC-Quad? Five years ago it would’ve been exclusively Trackman 🤔

I think I have the answer! Augusta do not allow phones on the range. This presumably extends to tablets. Without a device, you wouldn’t be able to read your Trackman numbers. The GC quad has a built-in screen, which solves the issue.

Short grass galore, intricate contours, and bunkers carved into green edges—a stark contrast from just seven years ago.

The blend of heather, fescue, and sunbaked turf we’ll enjoy this summer—though this green will look very different in 2026.

“Strap in boys, we’re here all day”
Glorious day at The Addington yesterday with Ryan and Jonathon, shooting a full course walk for their records and some social content. The transformation is staggering, with Jonathan and his team doing incredible work and Ryan’s attention to detail making for a nearly six-hour tour.
