Here's a video of the Test Track Design Studio experience recreated in Minecraft -- we tried to match the game mechanics as best we could, so if you know how to get a high score in real life you should fare pretty well on here!

See you there! Figma has some awesome tools to integrate with Copilot CLI, can't wait to share them!
Join me later today, Wednesday June 10 9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST / 5:00PM BST, for a chat with @Ryan_Hecht on closing the loop with GitHub Copilot CLI and Figma. We’ll do a live demo of how to use the Figma MCP server with Copilot CLI to move quickly and consistently from design to code and back again. Hope to see you there! fig-events.figma.com/figma-g…

Happy 10th anniversary to the AP Physics 2 year-end project where we all made segments for a video about relativity, each parodying educational YouTubers. I did the intro and outro in the style of @tweetsauce:

I had no idea what I was doing with the chroma key😂 I also realized _as we watched the final cut of the video in class_ that I rotated the Earth the wrong direction. Whoops!

You're telling me that the thing that made them decide to electrify Autopia was an EMISSIONS SCANDAL?! (Guess there's no hope for Tomorrowland Speedway then 😥)

I helped stand up GitHub's (and later Microsoft's) version of this dashboard -- tracking intensity of usage is a fine first step (esp to monitor cost), but beware Goodhart's Law and Campbell's Law -- orgs must quickly define what getting VALUE out of these tools looks like.
dashboards like this are extremely dumb and only cause people to become more inefficient (and waste more money) similarly, looking at token usage as a metric to correlate with productivity is just as stupid as using LoC or commit counts we have been down this road before

There are a lot of other interesting metrics that I've seen/heard of -- I don't think there will be a one-size-fits-all metric for all companies (don't get me started on all INDUSTRIES), but tool providers ought to do our part to prime you to look at higher-fidelity metrics.

Turns out measuring productivity is hard, who knew? 😉

Engineers on other teams, but also Designers, Product Managers, Executives, Sales/Revenue support -- we're getting contributions from all over GitHub AND the broader Microsoft family!
Interesting phenomena with the rise of AI coding tools. The number of weekly contributors in the Copilot CLI repo is ~10x the number of core Copilot CLI team members.

This is a big one -- I've been ssh-ing into my desktop while I go on walks, it's great to be able to do it from the web and the GitHub mobile app!
Remote control CLI sessions now let you monitor and manage Copilot CLI from the web or mobile apps in real time. • Syncs activity across CLI and GitHub with private sessions github.blog/changelog/2026-0…

Throwback to when their "bubble" meant they could gallivant around the golf courses while mixing in with the regular folk -- two NBA players almost ran me over in a golf cart!
Throwback Thursday to the “NBA Bubble” in Disney World during the Summer of 2020. The league did this for its playoffs after COVID shut everything down. 22 teams stayed at either Gran Destino, the Grand Floridian, or the Yacht Club. Seeding determined the hotel, with top teams staying at Gran Destino Tower.  Coronado Springs’ convention center was converted into practice court, and according to reports, Rix Sports Bar became a popular player hangout. All 3 resorts had NBA-only lounges, Djs, video gaming areas, and even barbers. They even put up fencing around the resorts to really put them in the own little bubble. What a weird time. 🏀 🫧

My American mind cannot comprehend that Tokyo DisneySea has an analogous community to EPCOT-purists

Shout-out to Disney for launching a new cruise ship called "Disney Adventure" and rebranding a theme park "Disney Adventure World" in the same month. Great marketing planning! 😅

I've gotten a lot of feedback about our Markdown table rendering -- @basiclines has heard your calls!
🧑‍🍳 Fresh out of the oven! New markdown tables are available now on Copilot CLI. Make sure to update!

I love this! Between this and `gh`'s wonderful interface for navigating issues and PR's, I rarely need to open the browser to triage issues anymore!
The team's been cooking with this one. You can now filter and reference Issues and PRs straight from the Copilot CLI✨

I continue to be amazed with our team's vision, velocity, and passion for this new frontier of software creation. Last summer, there were less <10 of us working on this. Now, almost 50 contributors authored a PR in the last month, across design, product, and engineering...

...even executives have raised PR's with Copilot's help! Super excited for what's next 👀
