ALT New technologies promise to reduce reliance on animal studies in cardiovascular research, but challenges remain. Human cell models, AI, and organoids offer exciting potential, yet data limitations, complex biology, and translational hurdles mean animal models still play a crucial role. The future lies in integrative, complementary approaches.
