🚨 Structure Fire - Lompoc 🚨 At approximately 7:15 AM, Santa Barbara County Fire crews, along with @LompocCityFire and Vandenberg Fire personnel, responded to a reported structure fire in the 100 block of A Street. Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved detached garage. Firefighters are currently making strong progress attacking the blaze. No injuries have been reported. Vehicle Accident Update - Cathedral Oaks Rd, Goleta At approximately 11:39 AM, @SBCFireInfo responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a deer on Cathedral Oaks Road between Los Carneros and Storke Roads. The deer was killed on impact, and the two occupants initially reported no injuries. While crews were en route Code 3, both occupants exited the vehicle. The female occupant walked to the front of her vehicle to check on the deer and assess damage. At that moment, a second vehicle rear-ended her car, pushing it forward and striking her. She sustained major injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. No other injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
