This wasn’t pitch rolling, it was pointless. The Budget will be a bitter pill to swallow as the government seems to have run out of excuses.
We can’t keep punishing households, high streets & hospices whilst big banks and social media giants don't pay their fair share.

The family farm tax was flawed from the start, hurting real farmers while letting big investors off the hook.
In this Autumn Budget, the government must not turn a blind eye and should scrap this damaging and counterproductive tax.

The two-child limit is cruel, trapping children in poverty and denying them a fair start.
This Autumn Budget, ministers must act and end the unfair cap once and for all.
