Our structural, biochemical and biophysical analyses provide a model by which human RAD52 open-ring cooperates with RPA to facilitate single-stranded DNA annealing repair. Our findings may provide new ways of targeting RAD52 in BRCA2 deficient tumours (7/8)
@SCWestLab we're looking forward to your presentation at #DNARepair24 in Malta this October! 🇲🇹 Please RT to let your followers know you'll be speaking & that Early Bird & Talk Submission close on 02 May 2024. Find out more ➡️bit.ly/talksub_DNARepair24
Congratulations to Caroline Hill and Xiaodong Zhang on being awarded almost £6 million in @wellcometrust Wellcome Discovery Awards to study DNA repair and organ development in zebrafish and humans 🥳

Our latest paper uses structural biology, biochemistry & biophysics to reveal the two-step catalytic mechanism of the human nucleotide pool sanitiser DNPH1. This will aid the development of novel inhibitors, which may be of use in breast cancer treatment. nature.com/articles/s41467-0…
We awarded our annual Translation Prize last night, recognising researchers at the Crick who are applying their research in a real-world setting.
Congratulations to our winner Anaid Benitez, runner-up Andreia Bernardo and all the nominees! 🏆🎉crick.ac.uk/news/2023-10-13_…
