And guess what, it still didn’t stop. Further searches carried out for potential stolen phones, broken up multiple fights that could have escalated to serious injury, door men assisted, stolen item searches... @MerPolCityCen - you’ve kept us on our toes. 20,108 steps.
Crazy night with 4 and a half hours left to go. Myself and 2214 have completed 4 stop additional stop searches, seized cannabis, issued a cannabis caution, given first aid, broke up domestics, attended assaults and helped those who have had one too many get home safe.
Busy night so far! Dealt with ASB, carried out stop searches, concerns for safety, area search for missing person (found all safe and well), and finally stopped a Taxi for going through a red light. Break now before heading back out.

On patrol with regular colleagues in central Liverpool today. Suspect sighted on a scrambler bike. Attempted to drive away, bike failed to start, made off on foot. Made chase on foot, hopped over a gate and was able to detain the male. Arrested for multiple offences.
Tonight we have 50 officers deployed throughout the force working alongside local policing teams and partners to tackle anti social behaviour. All our senior officers and the @MerPolCEU coordination team are out patrolling too.
