Close The Gap !
Now in its third year of operation, over £45,000 has been redistributed all across the postcode since the fund started back in May 2020. A big thank you 🙏 to all contributors both new and those who have been supporting the fund from the start.

Although our social media has been a bit quiet lately, the fund is still operating and giving out grants each month to SE15 neighbours.
However due to higher demand and the ever increasing cost of living, there is now a wide gap between monthly contributions & applications.

Working with the Basic Income Conversation @CompassOffice and other funds from the London Solidarity Fund Federation @brentsolfund @NewhamSFund @FundGoose @SE16CF we will be crowdfunding ÂŁ10,000 in order to ensure that we can provide all our applicants with funds for one month.

With the Government stripping people of the ÂŁ20 a week Universal Credit uplift, additional financial support for our neighbours is incredibly relevant. This Universal Basic Income pilot shows the impact that even ÂŁ50 a month could have.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Fund in its first year of operation. It’s now redistributed over £20,000 to over 70 different SE15 neighbours since May 2020, and has been supported by over 115 different local people and businesses.
