My team competed at Show Me the Money in Gainesville this past weekend. Offensively, I batted .375, 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored with one stolen base. Defensively, I had one runner caught stealing and 4 putouts. Not every tournament goes the way you hope.
This weekend came with a few setbacks and some mental challenges, but I learn from it. I’m thankful for the coaches and mentors who helped me work through the tough moments and for the opportunity to compete in front of so many college coaches.
The results weren’t what I wanted, but growth isn’t always measured with stats. So we reset and get back to work - keep moving forward.
