Deniz Jaffer and Jamie Lewis, the 2 Met Police officers tasked to guard the murder scene, were sentenced (Dec 2021) to two years and nine months for taking & sharing photos of murdered sisters Nicole Smallman and Bibaa Henry / 35 theguardian.com/uk-news/2021…

Besides the racist horror and predictable pain & anguish caused to Nicole's & Bibaa's loved ones, police actions, which may have contaminated the murder scene, risked jeopardising the murder trial. /36 theguardian.com/uk-news/2021…

Today, as @UFFCampaign procession reaches Whitehall, a reminder of our work on #RashanCharles. We couldn't possibly report deeply on each new death in police custody. We can't keep up. More each year, & more to come unless there's radical systemic change

4 yrs ago #London police violently restrained #RashanCharles , age 20. He died. Until systems change, this will keep on happening See latest cut of @Rebecca_Omonira & my film @novaramedia &read our work @SHINEreports THREAD warning: distressing > x.com/SHINEreports/status/14…

Replying to @SHINEreports
Who were those two men who restrained #Rashan ? One was a uniformed police officer. The other was just a random “member of the public”, according to the police. But we’ve found CCTV evidence that undermines the official story. 2/ youtube.com/watch?v=n9Dq6QNv…
