We're heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Littleton, CO. Kendrick was a member of @Frc4418, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family, friends, & all affected by the shooting.

Sterling Chess competed this weekend at the US Chess Federation National Championship. We were entered In the Unrated Division where the team finished #1 out of 36 teams from all over the country. Amazingly proud of this year’s team and their accomplishments!

Spent the afternoon with the @SHSRoboticsTeam. The club offers more than assembly and math, and recently did well at a regional competition in Chicago. I'll have a story in the newspaper this week about all they do with "Rocinante".
