We suggest geologists need to better align with other disciplines (including social sci and humanities), shout about the relevance of the subject in a modern and inclusive way and push the narrative of Earth story telling (processes, history/future)

Managed to get my hands on the 'Spider' from @Artec3DScanners to create 3D models of the Charles Cotton mineral collection. Through the use of @ThingLink, these can be evolved into interactive touch screen displays for our upcoming applicant visit days.
The Cotton Collection is comprised of 1082 minerals and is held by the School of Geography, Geology and the Environment at Keele University
