The meeting was officially opened by the Director General of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, Eng. Mahmoud Hussein Adam (Jabaake). In his remarks, the Director General emphasized “the importance of protecting the rights of trademark owners.” The meeting was closed by the Minister of Trade and Tourism, Hon. Abdirahman Hassan Noor. The Minister commended the participants for their active role and noted that the recommendations presented would be incorporated into the final revision of the law. He further stressed: The Trademark Law is a key pillar in safeguarding fair competition, and the Ministry is fully committed to finalizing this law in a manner that serves the national interest.
