I don’t like Steve Clarke, his attitude to the media and overall demeanour has never impressed me so I’m probably more critical regarding him than other people.
That being said, he is 100% right here because winning the game was the only priority.
The performance wasn’t great but it’s the World Cup, Haiti are better than we thought they were but this was the must-win and you do that by any means necessary.

Absolutely gutted for everyone at Muirkirk, a very good club and I hope they are able to get back as soon as possible.
There are a lot of concerns that along with Caledonian Locomotives and St Peter’s, Muirkirk won’t be the last club to struggle to keep things going before the season starts.
It might be being harsh but I really feel the league and governing bodies have to be doing more to help or question clubs in terms of sustainability with costs shooting up season after season.
