I've decided to write a book about D.H. Lawrence, who I've already written about in two long essays and in passing in my other books. 2030 will be the centenary of Lawrence's death, so great year to publish! Projected title: 'Phoenix Rising: The Strange Genius of D.H. Lawrence.'

Two writers I love are D.H .Lawrence and Aldous Huxley. Coincidentally they were also great friends. Huxley was one of the few people who understood and admired Lawrence while he was alive, Great to find this interview in which H speaks of Lawrence.
