So tiring listening to anti-vaccers. The rubbish that is wrapped up in so-called ‘science’. Thank goodness we have a public health function led by @DrNicolaBrink that we can trust.
Great @GuernseyRCN hustings event this evening. Thanks @SMundy68 for the invite. Very informative and will be following up via email later this evening ✊🇬🇬✊
Thanks @GuernseyRCN for the presentation tonight & @SMundy68 for highlighting the issues about nurses pay and conditions....
As I say in my manifesto, THIS Island 🇬🇬 needs to support our nurses... I am only too pleased to become a Nursing Champion #CloseTheGap#TimeForChange
Today Deputy Jane Stevens accepted the RCN petition for equal pay from Chair of Guernsey Branch Steve Munday and Guernsey RCN Convenor Kenny Lloyd. The RCN are asking for the issue to be debated at the next States meeting.
We’d like to thank you for your continued support. Today we’ll be setting up our information stall at Cobo gig, hoping to meet more supporters who wish to sign our petition. If you’d prefer to sign electronis version it’s attached below: chng.it/vnHLTXNB4h
HSC Nurses Pay campaign , day 2 tomorrow outside the Town Church , St Peter Port. Please support us. Even If you aren’t a nurse or love a nurse you may one day need a nurse .
It takes HSC Registered nurses 5 years to match the starting salary of a States of Guernsey administrative officer. Please support our campaign to increase nurses pay bringing us in line with other professionals. Make nursing a viable career in Guernsey.
After The Guardian was criticised for describing nurses as 'doctor’s assistants', we’re asking nursing staff: ‘In what ways do you think the public image of nursing is viewed as outdated and undervalued?’
