Now that they are scheming to bump us off to silence the #UgandaParliamentExhibition, we have more reason to believe that there is more they are hiding in Parliament. The exhibition needs to continue for another week. They shouldn’t get used to intimidating us into silence. Otherwise, they’ll keep doing the same. Dear concerned insiders, send us more information about Parliament. Meanwhile, thanks for the love, support and encouragement. I’m unable to reply to all your messages, but well noted and appreciated. On and we on we goooo… for a better Uganda

I’m authoritatively aware that ‘Parliament’ has secretly asked UCC @UCC_Official for all my communication details and the job has started - including tracing who I talk to, what, when, where, where I stay, the time of day/night I last communicate, movements, etc. This may include intentions to harm me. UCC, you may accept to be used in those evil selfish schemes, but whatever you are doing, I’m aware - because there are many people in there that are not happy with the trend we are taking, and that appreciate our cause in demanding for accountability and responsive service. They pay taxes too, and wish to be served better. Whether the law gives Parliament and UCC that power over people they should be representing/serving may not matter now. But it will matter some day - even if I won’t be there. It is unfortunate that this is how they respond to public demands for them to account to tax payers/ citizens, whom they purport to represent. How we got to this level of impunity and abuse of citizens and how we get out of it should concern us all - regardless of political affiliation. The system we’ve built is not sustainable and not safe for any of us and our children, including those currently benefitting from it. You are riding a tiger and are thrilled by its speed, but it will eat you too. Sorting Spire, or any other individual who is demanding for what is truly theirs, is not going to solve the problem. Even if you kill Spire today, it will only multiply Spires and anger. More aggressive Spires will rise to avenge. Even if Spire keeps quiet, it won’t stop the brewing anger, facilitated by your arrogance, greed, abuse of citizens’ good will, extravagance, and beastly indifference. Address the pains of the people instead of seeking to gag and destroy them. Of course my death would be unfortunate to those who care about me and what I do, but I won’t be there to feel it. There are only two possibilities for all of us: You are either alive or dead. So please, if you choose, shoot and feel good. It doesn’t require many bullets to stop a heart. UCC, help them hold the gun. Much of what I wanted to do here, I suppose I have done it. And I’m consoled by the natural assurance, that many more will always pick the baton and do much more. No human can stop time.

Jonathan @JonaOdur (Erute South) has rejected the directive by Speaker Among demanding that he writes a formal letter, addressing all his concerns around the corruption & abuse of office levelled against Parliament, saying such a letter would be illegal since the matter he intends to raise isn’t a love affair for it to be handled in secrecy.

During their political campaigns, they take advantage of people’s problems, pretending to care. They recite community problems until their eyes turn teary. They visit your miserable health centres and shanty schools and shake their heads in concern, feigning disbelief. They tell you how lobbying for health, agriculture, and education is going to be their priority. They dance themselves lame for you at rallies, to make you think that they are together with you and that they are down to earth - men and women of the people. When you finally get to know what they extravagantly award and spend on themselves, they ask you: “Isn’t it on our budget? Isn’t it legal?” At that point, they don’t want to ask if it is REASONABLE or CONSIDERATE amidst your problems that they promised to prioritise. After all the promises, the money milked from your hard labour is splashed on them, legally of course. Their argument now is that, as long as something is legally budgeted for, it’s okay. Never mind that it is some of the same people trying to tell us how the Public Order Management Act and a couple of other repressive laws are wrong. Indeed, law is just but what the strong use to legitimate their desires. They’ve talked themselves sweaty in defence of their opulence in a country where a huge percentage wallow in squalor. In 2026, they will back to you dancing and buying alcohol- for you to drink yourself into constant stupidity, and send them back to their banquet. A legal banquet, of course. On a legally passed budget, of course. Deserved, of course. For those very important REPRESENTATIVES of our pains. How more stupid is the voter assumed to be!

Given the gravity of the issues unearthed by the #UgandaParliamentExhibition one would have expected ‘opposition’ to pick it up from here through various measures to make strong demands for action on Parliament - at least to push. Unfortunately, you don’t even see a spark in that direction in their houses that have come to look like scarecrows or hoodwink quarters. It’s disturbing. FDC seems to be a disinterested spectator. Nothing from the Katonga group. NUP is busy with Hon. Mpuuga. DP is in limbo. From ANT, I’ve heard Hon. Winnie Kiiza speak, but no central party action. It’s disturbing! These scandals are a test on the public. The state must be watching our reactions with keen interest. When such things pass like wind, what stops them from recurring? As usual, they ask: “What will they do after all? They’ll move on to make noise about another scandal in another sector”. When they hear us mumble among ourselves in desperation that “what more can we do!”, that’s where they want us to be. Have we become this resigned to abuse and helplessness! Have we become so numb due to multiple abuses, to the extent that no more pain can go deeper? One psychological effect of being serially abused is that the victim can get used to the abuse and adopts indifference as a coping mechanism. Just like you stay for some time in a stinking place and you stop smelling the stench. Have we been overwhelmed with scandals to the point of no longer being angered by them? Is that where Ugandans are now? Have we been finally beaten into total submission and surrender?

1. Pothole exhibition- see, Spire is targeting the ED. 2. Health exhibition- see, it’s all about Dr Atwiine and Dr Aceng because the reshuffle is about. He is sponsored to start an Arab spring here. 3. Tribalism exhibition - see, he is targeting Banyankore. 4. NGOs exhibition- see, they’re sent by government to disorganise civil society. They’re targeting certain individuals. 5. Parliament exhibition - oh, they’re sent by gays to hit us for passing the anti-gay law; they’re targeting Among; they’re sent by Nyanzi to fight Mpuuga NOTE: I) Everyone is chanting up the exhibition until their turn to be exhibited, then it becomes a bad thing and ‘bought’. II) Usually such narratives are meant to take attention away from the issues raised - to run away from explaining. Lazy deflation
