Elon Musk says President Trump called for a return of the former Starliner astronauts "as soon as possible," but NASA already assigned SpaceX to ferry them home during the Biden administration.

CPU % usage is really complicated.
On Apple Silicon, you could use as little as 27% of the CPU's maximum frequency, yet Activity Monitor will show 100% usage of the core.
Why?
It all has to do with active residency.
One of the plays of the first Trump administration was to do something egregious as a distraction while they did something else they didn’t want you to notice. So while everyone is fixated on the Gaetz AG nomination, don’t lose focus on what else they’re doing.
A lot of replies here saying "we need paper ballots!". I wonder if they looked up how it works in Cambria county. All ballots ARE on paper, which is then scanned. The issue wasn't with the paper ballots; it was with the scanners. (pa.gov/en/agencies/vote/vote…)
Any system that has software issues is insecure. Period.
No matter who wins this election, can we please switch to:
- paper ballots
- with voter ID
- in a one day election
We need a system that American's can trust
In a Cold War 2.0, that system is low tech
A lot of things sound good in concept, but when you sit down and try to figure out the details you'll likely come to the realization that reality is a different story. When it comes to today's election, I'm OK with accurate results over the need to know instantly.
Back to the scanner issue, I'd be frustrated if it delayed me casting my vote but reassured that there's provisions in place to make sure my vote still gets counted. I think sometimes people just like to look for issues where issues don't exist.
Hey it's me Destin, from Smarter Every Day. Now that it's time to elect America's next leader, I would like to share something very interesting and important with you. I've been paying attention to this for a while, and I think if you look for it, you see it too.

What do you do w/ books about now-unsupported versions of SQL Server (2000-2008)? No space to keep for nostalgia’s sake and unsure if the content is so out of date/available freely now that they’re still valuable to anyone. 🤔
