are game devs forgetting about using fucking bought placeholder assets?
like literally there are librarys of paid and even FREE placeholder models that function just as good and is barely if ever noticable.
the argument for using ai as placeholder is just stupid at this point.
Since people want to get technical, the point is less on the texture itself and more something striking so they remember to put an asset in there since they keep using "we forgot to change it and didn't notice" excuse
What happened to using this as a texture place holder in videogames instead of AI?
