April showers don't go to waste! Tailwater recovery ponds allow us to capture and reuse storm water (and irrigation) runoff which decreases our groundwater pumping for crop irrigation. This is just another way we actively try to #conserve #water on our farm each year. #SoyOnWater

Our #combines must separate the grain from the rest of the plant without any damage to the kernel. Through machine learning, the #combine is able to detect the condition of the crop and automatically adjust the combine settings to maintain grain quality. #JohnDeere #Harvest21

Wow. We just found this gem of a book. It was written in 1946-almost 75 years ago. We spend so much time talking about how farming has changed and evolved, mainly through equipment and tech advancements, but this book is a good reminder that so much is still the same.
