I discovered many Ziotards have such distorted historical contexts. @NiohBerg is a prime example, and itโ€™s very unfortunate how much violence stemmed from the fall of the Ottoman Empire. For example Muslims and Jews fought together in the first Crusade defending the Holy Land.

Israel has killed more Muslims since 7 Oct than Muslims killed Jews in the entire modern period. Yes, there were massacres of Jews in the Middle East at the hands of Muslims; but overall it's ridiculous to compare MENA to Europe. The Russian Civil War pogroms alone likely killed more Jews than all Muslim countries have killed since say 1500. As to "apartheid conditions," yes, we can say (rather anachronistically) that Jews and Christians lived apartheid in the age of dhimmitude. If we're going to be comparative rather than anachronistic, apartheid looks pretty good compared to how religious minorities were being treated in Europe.
