Ivanka is one of the smartest, strongest, kindest and most graceful people on the planet!
This conversation meant a lot to me. On @thediaryoface, I opened up with @StevenBartlett about some of life’s more defining moments: loss, growth, and the perspective that comes from navigating both. We talked about creativity, love, boundaries, building, parenting and what matters most in this next chapter. Grateful to share it. youtu.be/7VxeyTfhBM8?si=solM…

1,000 young men reunited with their families on both sides brings us a step closer to peace.
This week, Ukraine and Russia carried out another prisoner exchange, with 1000 individuals returned following agreements reached during the recent trilateral negotiations in Geneva with the United States. This exchange was achieved thanks to sustained and detailed peace discussions at the direction of President Donald J. Trump. Under the President’s leadership, we continue to achieve meaningful outcomes while working towards formulating a peace deal that will end the war once and for all. Discussions remain ongoing, with additional progress anticipated in the weeks ahead. We thank the Swiss government for hosting these discussions and President Donald J. Trump for his leadership in advancing diplomacy toward a resolution.

I say this again … Abraham Accords were the greatest breakthrough in American foreign diplomacy that brought Muslims and Jews closer, and because of the Abraham Accords, the UAE delivered more than 42% of aid into Gaza. God bless the Abraham Accords.
I say this again … Abraham Accords were the best thing the UAE 🇦🇪 did for humanity.

Today, Adm. Brad Cooper, Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Jared Kushner, and I met with the brave sailors and Marines aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, her strike group, and Carrier Air Wing 9 who are keeping us safe and upholding President Trump’s message of peace through strength. We thanked the sailors and Marines, observed live flight operations, and spoke with the pilot who downed an Iranian drone that approached the carrier without clear intent. Proud to stand with the men and women who defend our interests, deter our adversaries, and show the world what American readiness and resolve look like, on watch every day.

Today, delegations from the United States, Ukraine, and Russia agreed to exchange 314 prisoners—the first such exchange in five months. This outcome was achieved from peace talks that have been detailed and productive. While significant work remains, steps like this demonstrate that sustained diplomatic engagement is delivering tangible results and advancing efforts to end the war in Ukraine. Discussions will continue, with additional progress anticipated in the coming weeks. We thank the United Arab Emirates for hosting these discussions, and President Donald J. Trump for his leadership in making this agreement possible.

The successful recovery of Police Officer Ran Gvili’s body in Gaza closes one of the darkest chapters of the Middle East conflict. For the first time since 2014 there are no Israeli hostages held in Gaza. All 20 live hostages and all 28 deceased hostages in Gaza have now been returned home. Under @realDonaldTrump leadership, @SEPeaceMissions and I worked closely with @CIA, @Netanyahu and his team, @IDF, Egypt’s GIS, Turkey, Qatar, and many cooperative Gazans to make possible this unthinkable outcome. Coordination and trust were built between individuals and organizations where none previously existed. This produced tangible results. Helping the people of Gaza start a new chapter free from the tyranny of Hamas is a critical mission to prevent future death and destruction for Israelis and Palestinians. This will also eliminate a flashpoint manipulated by disingenuous actors to mobilized antisemitism and other forms of division and hatred. We are trying new approaches, hoping to achieve new outcomes. This is an end, but also a new beginning.

Now, the hard work begins.   NCAG MISSION STATEMENT: “We are committed to establishing security, restoring the essential services that form the bedrock of human dignity such as electricity, water, healthcare, and education, as well as cultivating a society rooted in peace, democracy, and justice. Operating with the highest standards of integrity and transparency, the NCAG will forge a productive economy capable of replacing unemployment with opportunity for all. We embrace peace, through which we strive to secure the path to true Palestinian rights and self-determination.”
Today, as my first official act, I adopted and signed the NCAG Mission Statement, affirming our governing mandate and operating principles: Authorized by the UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and President Donald J. Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza is dedicated to transforming the transitional period in Gaza into a foundation for lasting Palestinian prosperity. Under the guidance of the Board of Peace, chaired by President Donald J. Trump, and with the support and assistance of the High Representative for Gaza, our mission is to rebuild the Gaza Strip not just in infrastructure but also in spirit. We are committed to establishing security, restoring the essential services that form the bedrock of human dignity such as electricity, water, healthcare, and education, as well as cultivating a society rooted in peace, democracy, and justice. Operating with the highest standards of integrity and transparency, the NCAG will forge a productive economy capable of replacing unemployment with opportunity for all. We embrace peace, through which we strive to secure the path to true Palestinian rights and self determination.

Let’s all dream together to make more unthinkable outcomes reality.
The start of meetings of Gaza’s technocratic government in Cairo marks the opening of a new chapter in the lives of two million Palestinians, exhausted by an unprecedented war and years of devastation. This may well be the most important government in Gaza’s history—not only because of the immense challenges it faces, but because it is unlike anything the Palestinian political system has ever known. It is a government entrusted with managing the largest budget in Palestinian history, overseeing the most extensive reconstruction effort Gaza—and arguably the modern Middle East—has ever seen. More than that, it is a government operating under conditions that have never existed before: broad international backing, unprecedented political attention, and a level of popular support rooted not in ideology or factional loyalty, but in sheer public exhaustion and a deep desire for normal life, dignity, and stability. This government is not judged by slogans or rhetoric. It will be judged by its ability to restore basic services, rebuild homes and infrastructure, reopen schools and hospitals, revive the economy, and reintroduce the idea that governance can serve people rather than dominate them. What begins in Cairo is more than a series of meetings. It is the first test of whether Gaza can move from survival to recovery, from despair to responsibility, and from endless crisis management to a future shaped by competence, accountability, and hope.

Today we had a very good conversation with President Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff @SEPeaceMissions and @jaredkushner. I thank them for the constructive approach, the intensive work, and the kind words and Christmas greetings to the Ukrainian people. We are truly working 24/7 to bring closer the end of this brutal Russian war against Ukraine and to ensure that all documents and steps are realistic, effective, and reliable. We discussed certain substantive details of the ongoing work. There are good ideas that can work toward a shared outcome and the lasting peace. Real security, real recovery, and real peace are what all of us need – Ukraine, the United States, Europe, and every partner who helps us. I hope that today’s Christmas understandings and the ideas we discussed will prove useful. During the conversation, I was joined by Rustem Umerov, Andrii Hnatov, Andrii Sybiha, Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ihor Brusylo, and Oleksandr Bevz. Our entire diplomatic team is doing their utmost. We agreed that Rustem will speak again today with Steve and Jared. We believe this is the right approach – not to lose a single day or a single opportunity that can bring the result closer. May today’s conversation become another step toward peace. I also asked the guys to pass along our Christmas greetings to Donald Trump and the entire Trump family. Thank you!
