Today is #MindenDay, the second Regimental Day of the year!
On 1 August 1759, at the Battle of Minden, the 37th Regiment of Foot obeyed the Duke of Brunswick’s order and advanced towards the French “with drums beating in proper time.” This turned out to be quite the mistake!

The Fordbridge Veterans' Hub will be celebrating its first anniversary tomorrow and we’d like as many veterans as possible to come along.
The Hub runs out of Fordbridge Fire Station, Staines Road West, Ashford (TW15 3SB) on the fourth Tuesday of every month between 11am and 1pm.
