After all the hard work yesterday (&the rest of the week for many) it has to be said how amazing #tissueviability nurses are, the energy and creativity they put in to #stopthepressure day was beyond belief - and they are already talking about being bigger and better next year!
To mark #StopThePressure day, we celebrated the achievements of wards and departments who have gone more than 100 days without a patient getting an acquired pressure ulcer.
Thank you for supporting #StopThePressureDay@SFHFT. Another great effort for increasing awareness. There has been a fantastic response today across the country to focus on #StopThePressure @RMayNurseDir
Our Tissue Viability team joined in with #stopthepressure week today by holding at stand at King's Mill Hospital and teaching people about the signs of pressure ulcers.
It's great to see so many colleagues around the country wearing a red dot this #StopThePressureDay to raise awareness of pressure ulcer prevention. Take a look at some of our resources to see what you could do in your trust to #StopThePressure. 🔴 improvement.nhs.uk/search/?q…
