Gen. Kadıoğlu and Ambassador Koç received a tour of our Joint Operations Centre, met with our extraordinary Turkish personnel, and received a brief on our mission to deliver high-end maritime strike and defence capabilities to the @NATO Alliance.

The Turkish Air Force is recognised by NATO as a critical contributor to the Alliance’s air power and overall capability to deter our adversaries and defend the 1 billion citizens of our Alliance!

Last week, #STRIKFORNATO 🔱 hosted senior military officers from the Portuguese Instituto Universitário Militar (IUM) 🇵🇹 Flag Officer Course, which prepares them for their responsibilities as future Admirals and Generals.   The officers were received by our DCOM, RADM Craig Wood CBE 🇬🇧, DCOS OPS, RDML Eduardo Guitián Crespo 🇪🇸 and DCOS SUP, CAPT Clemente Gil 🇵🇹. During their visit, they were briefed on our mission to deliver high-end maritime strike and defence capabilities to ensure the security of the 1 billion citizens of the @NATO Alliance. The IUM is dedicated to academic, scientific, and strategic training in defence and security, and delivers continuous training and education to the Portuguese Armed Forces 🇵🇹 as well as foreign military officers.
