Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust official #welearn page. Sharing welearn news, best practice, learning & innovation across our integrated care system.
Having served on the board of @SWBHnhs as a Non Executive Director (NED) since the summer of 2015, I’ve now served the maximum term of office for a NED on an NHS Board so it’s time to say goodbye to my amazing colleagues at this brilliant institution.
I’ve learnt so much during the 8 years working alongside some of the best public servants who go above and beyond the call of duty to care for patients and tackle health inequalities in our community.
I want to put on record my thanks and gratitude to all my colleagues on the board led by @DavidNichols0n and @NHSBeeky and wish the entire team across the trust all the best for the future.
At our upcoming #chairsceos, we’re hosting a session on fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Hear from @DrNicolaBurgess on insights gained from the @VM_Institute and NHS Partnership evaluation, followed by an interactive session with @nhsuhcw's Professor Andy Hardy.

It's official! Our move champions are out and about in wards and areas across @SWBHnhs.
They will play an integral role in getting our teams ready for the big move to Midland Met next year.
ALT Dr Jayne Chidgey-Clark: “I welcome the publication of the Framework for the implementation of the Fit and Proper Person Test by NHS England.
“It recognises the negative consequences of defensive leaders who victimise people who speak up, and ensures processes so that this behaviour can be held to account. Victimising people who speak up has a serious impact on patient safety, and creates an environment of silence and fear.
All healthcare professionals within Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust now have access to BMJ Case Reports. Contact the library for the fellowship code when submitting your case report or for any enquiries you may have with the submission. @SWBHnhs
