When @SecRollins launched the NWS Grand Challenge earlier this year, we challenged innovators across the country to bring forward bold ideas to help detect, control, and ultimately eradicate this devastating pest. More than 200 proposals were submitted.
USDA is putting the best of those ideas to work—from boosting sterile fly production and developing next-generation traps to advancing new treatments and response tools.
