Manbij
The SDF is cleaning up the remaining pockets of SNA sleeper inside Manbij city.
Fierce clashes continue.
Some places in Manbij have dozens of dead Turkish led SNA members laying on the streets.
SDF confirms:
The Turkish airforce carried out an airstrike on the Civil Council building of Manbij.
That building is part of the civil administration and not part of the military infrastructure.
A war crime right before your eyes - by NATO country Turkey
The fight for Manbij is far from over and the tide of war can change - for now the world should know that the SDF resists!
The clashes inside Manbij and its countryside continue.
The SDF keeps on resisting.
You are looking at a convoy of Turkish led SNA who tried to enter Manbij and were ambushed by the SDF
Civilians light off fireworks in Hasakah and fill the streets following the news that the whole city belongs to the SDF for the first time the whole war. x.com/_warCSINT/status/18651…
So, let me get this straight: HTS leader Jolani states in that interview that he intends to govern Syria with a system of Councils made up of local people
And *experts* are now hailing him as a visionary and revolutionary?
The AANES (Rojava) has implemented this system from the beginning of their uprising against the Syrian regime. The very same *Experts* who are now hailing Jolani as a visionary have criticised the council-system throughout the last years when the Kurdish led administration in the AANES implemented it.
For reference: every region and most cities in the AANES are governed by a local council which in turn is part of the AANES - most (internationally) known councils would be the Manbij Military Council or the Deirezzor Military Council - Both councils are by a large majority made up of Arab soldiers and led by Arab leaders.
Astonishing how a system is considered bad when a Kurdish-led administration implements it - but considered good when Hayat Tahrir al Sham plans to implements it.
Some real unbiased *Experts* we have there, really proud of the level of academic professionalism (🤮)
This is a must watch: My colleague @JomanaCNN managed to intv Syrian rebel leader al Jolani inside Syria. Talks about how they are beating govt forces, what could come next, what their goals are. @CNN@cnnicnn.com/2024/12/06/middleeas…
People in Syria and Rojava are in great need of our help. To help our bothers and sisters in need please Donate to Heyva Sor charity organisation. They will use your money to build shelter and provide needs for the people in need .
If someone from Shahba reads this or has relatives stranded - being held hostage there:
Busses have arrived in Shahba to evacuate the remaining IDPs.
The buses will roam around and blow whistles/loudspeaker so that any IDP who currently hides from the Turkish led SNA can come out when the busses approach their locations.
The evacuation is under the protection of Kurdish forces.
3 emergency numbers have been issued: DM me if you/someone needs them.
In case anyone isn’t aware, this account isn’t affiliated with the Rojava TV network and everyone I’ve ever asked suspects it to be actively spreading disinformation.
Because of the current situation and ongoing attacks on the Autonomous Self-Administration (#AANES), a lot of people want to come or ask how to help. While coming here may not be feasible right now for everybody, there is actually a lot you can do at home to #DefendRojava (1/2)
Please raise your voice.
This is a repeat of the horrors of Shingal happening again.
Turkish led SNA fighters are the the scene and taking with them anyone they want.
They are shooting in the air to scare the people away.
The internet has been cut off - we can barely communicate with people present at the scene.
The situation is very serious.
A humanitarian catastrophe is about to happen - tens of thousands of people are still waiting for a corridor to be opened.
They had to spend the night on the street amid freezing temperatures, no water and no food.
These are the IDPs from Afrin who settled in Tal Rifaat fleeing from the invasion of Afrin by the Turkish military and the Turkish led SNA - they settled in Tal Rifaat area - now they have become IDPs once again, after the Turkish led SNA attacked Tal Rifaat..
Assad is scum, no doubt, but journalists referring to HTS as simply “the rebels”, and not stipulating that they are extremist jihadist rebels, is an insult to their many victims. Also an insult to the original secular rebels who rose up to battle Assad’s authoritarianism.
RIC’s 2023 report "When Jihadism Learns to Smile: HTS’ Evolution and its Current Presence in North and Northwestern Syria" details the group’s expansion.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have been advancing and gaining territories from the Syrian government in the southern and eastern countryside of Aleppo since November 26 - the most significant conflict following a 2020 ceasefire brokered between Turkey and Russia.

If I was designing an app specifically to capture the exodus from another app, I'd guess that my new users would probably want to find the people they used to follow, and put a bit of effort into making sure that part of the app wasn't extremely irritating to use.
Does anyone know what this game is? Most but not all of the pieces are double sided (red on one side, black on the other), and they come in three different sizes.
