My mother is a lot of things o, but I’ll never forget that period I was so so in love and into one boy that I randomly mentioned how I couldn’t wait to take his name and my mother looked at me with so much disgust and went “awoche’n ke kodi?” It loosely translates to “so you are not a person (human) now or what?”
