i like how for a certain set of millennial women âgo piss girlâ has become an automatic polite social response in the vein of saying âbless youâ but for peeing
This is a genuinely mindboggling story. Not only the fact this was allowed to happen (exactly why league officials shouldn't be allowed to gamble at all) but the fact that the league had knowledge of the enormity of his debt for four years and allowed him to continue officiating.
I cannot overstate how insane this story is. There is absolutely no way the ARLC could guarantee that Ashley Klein's massive gambling problem and huge debt didn't open him to influence. It's wild he was allowed to keep refereeing the biggest #NRL games.

if we just made gambling advertising illegal everywhere, the world would be a noticably better place almost immediately
not saying to ban gambling (probably regulate it a lot more) but just no more ads
The concept of me defending Timothee Chalamet through the ballet scandal just for him to turn around and maybe do the most anti art thing you can do in 2026 (sell out to Kalshi)
This movie was enjoyable an enough 3-star dinner movie that was only as fun as it was because Powell is so charming.
Can't imagine it would be even remotely enjoyable without him leading it.
A âHIT MANâ series is in the works at Netflix.
The series will be inspired by the movie with Glen Powell & Richard Linklater set to exec produce.
