The political-psychological drama premiered in cinemas on 12 June 2026, with its official launch held at Mall of the North in Polokwane. Set in the late 1980s, the film chronicles the student resistance movement against the apartheid-era military occupation of the University of Limpopo, then known as Turfloop. Mamabolo portrays renowned anti-apartheid activist Peter Mokaba. Directed and produced by multi-award-winning filmmaker Tebogo Malope, the film is adapted from the memoir of former SRC president Ernest Khosa, who led the student body during the 1988/89 and 1989/90 academic terms. The production also features acclaimed actors Nthati Moshesh, Arthur Molepo, Molefi Monaisa and Nathaniel Ramabulana, alongside emerging local talent. #LimpopoChronicle
