Tbf a couple hours into my no-focus mode experiment, there are things that show FM's value.
- Mounting is strictly worse
- Guardians are less interesting
- The fights are at a constant level of intensity and don't have the up&down that (rare!) wound stagger can ideally introduce
I'm glad Oceaniz is the one to try out Wilds without FM and sharing how the game is actually just right without it.
This mechanic has done nothing but actively hurt the game. Wounds included.

Let me put this simply: ChatGPT is not Google. It is stupid and potentially dangerous to treat ChatGPT like Google. LLMs are closer to asking a random weirdo in the street a question than using a search engine.
It's not a matter of argument. It is a matter of perception, which is reality for most people.
Comparing the public use versus technical definition of LLMs to eating dryer sheets also doesn't work because dryer sheets aren't edible.
