Conspiracy theory time: the big companies keep releasing their better models 2 weeks apart so people like this will cancel their subs and re sub to the other one, then there’s overlap where you can’t use all your tokens from two max subs

I just cancelled my $200 ChatGPT Pro 20x plan.
GPT 5.5 is garbage compared to Claude Fable 5.
OpenAI shouldn't even release GPT 5.6.
They are going to need to release GPT 6 or a new class of model to come anywhere close to Claude Fable 5.
I am buying a 4th $200 Claude Max subscription now.

People like this never cease to amaze me I have a couple co workers that refuse to go past 4.6 it’s just like all the redditors that got mad when open ai got rid of gpt 4.0. MOVE ON the new model is much better

this is a pretty lukewarm take atp but opus 4.7 and 4.8 are shockingly bad compared to 4.6, I can't believe anthropic actually shipped these models
