The MAC has recommended keeping the £41,700 general Skilled Worker salary threshold but lowering occupation-specific salary requirements by calculating them at the 25th percentile instead of the current median (50th),This could make Skilled Worker sponsorship more accessible.

Bad man, it’s me. Responsible man, it’s still me. Calm man, it’s me. Stubborn man, still me. Chalant man, it’s me. Nonchalant man, still me. There’s no type of man I can’t be, depending on who is experiencing me and where I find myself.

all jokes aside, i think one of the best things that can happen to you as a young person is figuring out what you truly want to do with your life early on and being in an environment that doesn't hinder it from happening

One idea that has revolutionized my thinking is this: you are allowed to not want things. You can look at everything society tells you that you need to have and just be like, “Nope. I will not be participating.”

Our language around governance is so interesting in Nigeria. We talk like when someone wins an election, the money and resources of the state become their personal largesse and any progress or work that happens is because they’re kind enough to “dash” us.

Again, The idea that companies are bypassing thousands of British graduates to eagerly sponsor immigrants for "entry-level professional roles" is completely detached from how the UK visa system actually works. What is this TL. To get a Skilled Worker Visa in 2026, the Gen minimum salary threshold is £41,700 per year. Even if a company uses the absolute maximum "new entrant" discount for a recent graduate, they still legally have to pay a minimum of £33,400. The vast majority of standard entry-level graduate roles outside of elite finance simply don't pay anywhere near that. Sponsoring a single worker will cost a employer over £14,000 in government fees. I don't know how many British businesses you think are spending that much to fill a generic starter role when there are capable domestic British graduates. The overwhelming MAJORITY of job openings here completely shut the door on sponsorship from da 1. Fewer than 1:5 are advertising sponsored roles at any given time. How many even have a license? 95% of these roles are entirely closed to internationally applicants.

If it is on her status not my DM, she is fishing for external compliments, not mine. The other guy can go ahead. After all, the picture is posted for everyone to compliment.
watching ur girlfriend's status and not complimenting her is basically asking another guy to do it !!!!!!

Liverpool letting Alonso go to Chelsea while they sit idly by and watch Slot get out-coached every week is tragic. Richard Hughes has signed the wrong profiles to replace the club's greatest FB pairing, failed to reinforce the midfield with the necessary profile at DM, failed to secure Guehi even when everything was agreed, spent £205m on two strikers who both want to start regularly, didn't replace Luis Diaz and now he's about to keep Arne Slot. His tenure has been shambolic since he signed in 2024. He got lucky that Salah & VVD had all-timer seasons and won Liverpool the PL last season despite zero signings that summer window but he has failed to build on that since. He is derailing Liverpool's project for the next 2-3 years.

If the club didn’t choose to embarrass itself by backing a clearly erring manager, who puts his failings on the greatest modern player, we wouldn’t be here. Shut the fuck up.

Mo firing shots at the club makes reds happy. I’m wondering if they love the club or the player now. Cos no fan that loves the club would enjoy seeing a player embarrassing it in public in this manner.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
