Beautiful weekend exploring (and living) on The Great Lakes™️

I’ve had 2 companies call me this week looking for warehouse space who specialize in car dent repairs
Both are from out of state and looking to open shop in Cleveland due to the crazy hail storm a few days ago
Seeing a photo like this is always very good for me
Like why do I get nervous before I start cold calling people?
We live on a floating rock in the middle of an infinite universe, and I’m worried about someone being annoyed that I’m calling or emailing them relevant info/data
We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
I get about 1 to 2 of these spam calls a day
“Hi this is Jessie from the digital activation department”
Always from local phone numbers that are different each time and they don’t come across with a Spam label on them
Anyone else?
I know an industrial broker at my company (different market) who built his business with just cold emails
Rarely ever cold calls. Mostly just cold emails. Follows up relentlessly
He’s a top broker in his market and makes a killing
Is that surprising to you?
Loud boom in Cleveland - heard and felt it in Westlake. Seems like people felt it in a ~40mi radius at least?
First guess is Sonic boom? Anything flying over 50k ft could cover that wide an area, and that includes most hypersonic aircraft
NBC is by far the best sports broadcasting network by a mile
Everything they do is fantastic (Olympics, golf, pro and college football, extreme sports, basketball, etc)
It helps that Mike Tirico is perhaps the best sports broadcaster of all time
