Saleem was an amazing man and he changed the world. There are few people who fought harder to put loss and damage from climate change on the map. I remember him in a stadium hall in Warsaw, a gleam in his eye because against all odds he was making progress. He'll be truly missed.
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you about the passing away of our director, Prof. Saleemul Huq, on 29 October, 2023.
His unmatched legacy will remain as a shining example for years and generations to come.
