This is why I say Godlogic is an idiot. I dont know who the brother is but there were very simple answers to his objections. First the Torah is a set of books, not chapters. Its a false equivalence to demand chapters to books. If the equivalent of the Quran was revealed to a Israelite Prophet it would be its own separate book.
Focusing on authorship instead of the nature of the text itself was a blunder, but Godlogic treating the question as a comparison between beginnings of a single book instead of comparisons of two complete revelations only shows his bad-faith sophist approach to apologia.
Second, he knows fully well that Jesus being the messiah in muslim theology is not at the same level of the Trinity doctrine is in Christian theology. You cannot be a Christian without believing in the trinity, the same way you cannot be a Muslim without Tawheed. It is a valid question to ask for *explicit* mention of this doctrine in the Torah, especially considering the Doctrinal importance Jesus (AS) gives it in the gospels.
Godlogic’s classic deflection tactic exposed
Muslim: “Show me Jesus as the begotten Son of God in the Torah (first 5 books).
Godlogic: “Then show me Jesus as Messiah in the first 2 chapters of the Qur’an.”
Why this false analogy completely fails…
