I discount all handguns for self defense but some more than others.
Why do people discount a .22 for home defense? Holes are holes. Punch one.

When I was 10, movies made 30 years ago didn't exist.
Not going to boost this account but this is a terrible way to approach life. This attitude is the reason kids are growing up never hearing of Robin Hood or King Arthur. They have been deprived of their inheritance. Resist the tyranny of the present moment.

My birth certificate.
Little bit of personal lore time.. Where does your user name come from? I'm noticing a pattern.

This poll divides people into one of two categories, those who depend on others for their survival and those who don't.
Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

How can a hotel in a location known for high winds not anchor their Direct TV dish properly?

I can't get into the NBA either. I think it has a lot to do with my height and lack of skill.
I don’t know why, but I just can’t get into the NBA… and I don’t think I’ve watched a full game on TV in about 5 years. Basketball was my favorite sport most of my life.

A text based BBS game where you built an empire (I think they called them Barons), raised an army and attacked other players. An inter-BBS version allowed you to form allowances on your BBS and attack another BBS. You were limited to one attack a day so the trick was to make one attack just before midnight and over just after. If anyone can remember the name of the game I'll be forever grateful.
For anyone who used a computer between 1990 & 2005… what’s the one game you still think about?

It would be faster and much easier to flip this and ask which departments should exist. I could do that in one tweet.
Which departments of the U.S. government should not exist?

My wife does. But that just makes it easier for me to throw them away.
Раз уж Илон наш Маск разрушил вавилонскую парадигму, не могу не задать нашим иностранным друзьям следующий вопрос: - у вас есть пакет для пакетов? 😳 Или же это чисто русская сублимация собирания матрёшки? 🤔

Apparently it's evil to recognize that good things happen when you obey God's commandments.

I tried but, the cost of adoption was 1.5x my annual income at the time. The primary reason that adoption is so expensive is because they are literally killing the supply.
If you are pro-life would you ever be willing to adopt an unwanted baby? Trying to prove a point.

If you think that the Bible is the ultimate authority then you worship a book and not God.

We remind our enemies, particularly Missouri, that the Mormon Nuclear Program is for peaceful energy production capabilities only…. >:-)
Utah is making a serious play for the future of American energy. Economic strength, national security, and energy abundance. Built here. Read more: ksl.com/article/51474071/gov…

The thought that I just can't seem to shake today on Palm Sunday is that Jesus entered Jerusalem on Sunday as a revered Savior. By Friday He was condemned and mocked so mercilessly that even His most valiant disciple denied knowing Him. The world is that fickle. Don't follow the world. Stand on your faith and remain faithful to Him.

He's no king if you call him Supreme Leader instead.
Communists marching with Democrats at the NO KINGS protest in NYC on Saturday. The communists chant: “There is only one solution—Communist Revolution!” That’s the New Democrat Party for ya!

One thing has become obvious during tonight's painted gun discussion. Most people who think they're camouflage experts only know what their DS/DI told them to make them believe their uniform would hide them in the woods. Their understanding begins and ends with breaking up an outline.

Want to kill a few hours when you're sick and feeling miserable? State an unpopular opinion about guns and all the low tier gun enthusiasts will argue with you for hours. I've been too engaged to think about coughing up a lung.

Wow! Who could have guessed that novice gun enthusiasts could get so upset over observable fact? I've even painted guns before myself. The difference is, I've carried painted guns in combat and it's wears off pretty quick and just makes it look like trash after a couple weeks.
Replying to @thecavedaddy
Painting guns is for safe queens. It doesn't work for guns that actually get used. Just buy one in the ceracote color you want.

This is why you start your printer buying in the ink isle. There's a reason they're selling printers for $50.
Printer ink prices draw backlash after a shopper breaks down the cost. A $63 cartridge holds about half an ounce—nearing $30K per gallon. “This should be illegal.”
