Why did I sweep some #Blupets (@blupixapp)?
Simple: I’m not just betting on art.
I’m betting on creators, storytelling, community, supply dynamics, and where NFTs are going next.
First, @bunya_eth is clearly one of those rare builders who understands art narrative culture. Smart, talented, and a real storyteller.
Big thanks to @foogy for introducing him in the @depunks chat.
Now, the thesis:
Blupets has only 8,192 NFTs.
Phase 2⃣ — the Merge — comes after reveal, and in my opinion that could potentially bring supply closer to the 3K range.
That matters.
Lower supply stronger identity better alignment usually creates a cleaner collector base.
Then comes the part that really caught my attention:
Phase 3⃣.
The evolution from static #NFT → Agentic NFT.
That is the same reason #Normies got my attention too: pixel art with a real future beyond just being a JPEG.
I believe the next NFT cycle will not be won by every “NFT 2.0” project.
Most will disappear.
The winners will be the ones with:
• elite creators
• strong storytelling
• loyal communities
• real culture
• and a path toward agentic ownership
Normies does not need anyone’s validation. It is already proving itself.
But I do think Blupets has a real chance to become another Agentic NFT project that people look back on and say:
“Yeah… that one was obvious.”
That is why I swept.
