After attending an event in Kanpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was travelling to Delhi on the 12003 Lucknow Shatabdi Express when a stone struck his coach near Firozabad. North Central Railway CPRO Shashi Kant Tripathi said that Bhagwat was travelling in Coach E1 on seats 39 and 40, while the stone hit near seat number 50. The stone struck the outer glass pane, causing no injury to any passenger.
Following the incident, the train was provided an escort and continued its journey to Delhi.
