हम कितनी भी भक्तिभाव दिखा लें पर सच्चाई ये है कि हमारे हर कदम के पीछे मंशा छुपी रहती है। संदिग्ध मंशा सामने रहती है। पश्चिम में लोग शायद उतनी पूजा नहीं करते होंगे जितनी हम करते हैं, लेकिन कम से कम अपने काम में भगवान को शामिल कर उसे बेवकूफ़ तो नहीं बनाते होंगे। इस दौरान मैं तीन बार दर्शन करने गया था और अगर मैं नहीं गया तो भी कई बार साउथ से लोगों ने प्रसाद भी भेजा है। अपने ही अपने को बेवकूफ़ बना रहे हैं। न कोई सख़्त क़ानून है, न कभी बनेगा। क़ानून बस कागज़ों पर है, असल में तो हर टेंडर में किसी नेता का हिस्सा तय है। इसी कारण से कोई सनकी आदमी इतना टूट जाता है कि हिंसात्मक कदम उठा ले लेता है और सीधे फैसला कर देता है। अदालतें पमिल और विपिन दोनों के पास सबूत होने के बाद भी कभी न कभी उन्हें छोड़ देगी, और वे फिर मिलावटी सामान बेचते रहेंगे।
