Dear side chick: Never think you’re better than the wife. That man left his wife and kids, you’re not the exception!! #ThePolygamist

Vraiment les sorciers ceux-là... Notre femme, notre belle-sœur tchrrrrrrr

En tout cas Madame la Directrice....
Kwanele, you didn’t just play Matipa, you BECAME her. Your execution of that character was surgical. You took a “side chick” elevated to “wife” that thought SHE was an exception and gave her depth, pain and humanity. You delivered raw talent with precision. We see YOU🙌🏾🔥😭👏🏾💎

I love it when Black people say “here comes your friend” and when you look up it’s someone you hate

she was “sisters” with Essie for 20 years. why is her reaction shocking? if i found out someone i considered my sister was actually fucking my husband, i’d also cut them off tf.
I have a hunch that Joyce might be a bit classist and that’s why she forgave Mathipa and accepted her twins but couldn’t open up her heart to do the same for Essie and Sarah. #thepolygamist

Absolutely because you'll become his doormate and fed with humiliation
Ladies the greatest lesson from #ThePolygamist is if a man wants to leave you, let him go .. Men are not worth fighting for 😩

My final thoughts on #ThePolygamist is that the show is deeply impactful because none of what happened on the show was far fetched. Those are the realties of many women, and it’s actually quite awful.
