Here's a study that puts it in no uncertain terms: biodiversity decline is associated with 500k early deaths/year globally.

The deaths are attributed to loss of access to affordable nutritious food due to a loss of pollinator species populations...which is caused by a host of anthropogenic activities (e.g., habitat loss, intensive farming, harmful pesticides use, #climatechange, etc).
