Before it entered the clinic Chris said FAP-Exd could make a dent in cancer she’s been looking for her whole career. Fast forward some 12 weeks in clinic and Chris now says it really could put a huge dent in cancer. When you know, you know. #AVCT

Yes, she’s definitely no idea whether 6103 is working just shy of 3 months into clinic…💥 #AVCT

#AVCT’s shareholder base is calm through all irrational volatility for good reason. AVA6103 is now well into the period where impact is expected. Prove Generation 2 technology is sustaining the release of Exatecan and AVA6207 becomes exceptionally desirable. Deal(s) follow.

Recent placings would suggest that #AVCT’s SP begins its climb at some point today (i.e. settlement day). The two top oncologists in the company buying shares at 70p - months after 6103 first dosing - is such a clear sign that all is going exceedingly well here.

#AVCT ($400M M’cap) Tango Therapeutics had a market cap of around $600M 12 months ago. Today it’s worth over $4B. Analysts now estimate peak sales of more than $2.5B for its lead asset, and the company has just raised $600M. Which comes off the back of very good clinical data. Importantly, Tango has attracted significant institutional backing along the way. Which is what happens when compelling clinical data begins to derisk the story. Meanwhile, Avacta’s AVA6000 has already demonstrated prolonged disease control and still hasn’t reached median PFS in salivary gland cancer. As CC recently pointed out, not yet reaching median PFS is a very good thing. We’ve already seen the first signs of increasing institutional interest with Avacta’s recent placing and cornerstone investor. A good reminder of how quickly oncology valuations can change when the clinical data continue to strengthen and institutions start to take notice. Where could Avacta be in 12 months from now if AVA6000 continues to deliver (with analyst estimates of ~$2.4B peak sales - very similar to Tango’s lead asset) and AVA6103/Gen 2 validate the broader preCISION platform?

2026 could be the year that a REAL dent is made in this horrible disease. Another company with pancreatic cancer in the crosshairs is @avacta #AVCT, with their FAP-EXD (exatecan) AVA6103. AVA6000, is their generation 1 preCISION asset. The FDA granted the removal of the maximum dosing limit of Doxorubicin (AVA6000 delivers doxorubicin direct to the TME) earlier this year, due to no severe cardiac toxicity observed during the ~4.5 year trial. Avacta will announce initial clinical data on AVA6103 later this year. Might be worth keeping an eye on them too 🤞 #Oncology #Technology #Biotech 🇬🇧🇺🇸

#AVCT “In our view, the key takeaway from this raise is that institutional investors (and management) are prepared to participate in a placing at market prices, suggesting solid confidence in the platform’s future potential and management’s ability to deliver it.” Indeed.

Mark Goldberg joined #AVCT when AVA6000 went into patient. Five years in August. For half a decade he has not subscribed to a single placing, despite much market fanfare: LFT which will solve Covid; 6000 complete regression after a single dose; removal of 6000 dosing limit etc. You can assume from that he doesn’t care about the optics of a purchase from a seasoned Harvard medical faculty Oncologist. And nor should he. You can also assume, when making his first ever purchase (with AVA6103 9 weeks into arm), that it’s on the basis the drug (and platform) is working as it should to date. Semi conductor style returns on offer from 72p. It’ll all be so obvious in hindsight. Every sign was there.

The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital. A great team effort by Chris and the Zeus team, what a difference a year makes. Onwards and upwards 🚀#AVCT @coughlin582

One thing that stood out in yesterday’s #AVCT placing RNS. @avacta could’ve said: “We look forward to reporting initial AVA6103 data.” “The data will help evaluate the broader potential of preCISION.” “AVA6103 may provide further validation of the platform.” Instead, they said: “…We expect that these data will provide validation of our preCISION technology in patients, by demonstrating that both our First and Second Gen molecules can effectively treat human cancers.” That’s a VERY strong statement. AVA6103 isn’t about proving exatecan can kill cancer cells. Exatecan is already a highly potent Topo1 payload with known tumour activity. The key question is whether preCISION can activate it in the tumour and provide sustained release while controlling systemic exposure. Given the trial design, timing and early clinical/PK visibility, Avacta should already have a good sense of whether AVA6103 is behaving as intended. So “we expect these data will provide validation” feels extremely deliberate. Not proof until data is release, but this does not read like cautious language from a management team worried the platform might fail to translate. Cohesion Bureau will be busy planning for the day they can finally tell the world why Avacta have spent 2026 comparing itself to the biggest selling ADC of all time.

The dilution for #AVCT is inevitable and already factored in as the CLN is a surprise to nobody. Here management have 1. Minimised dilution by raising ABOVE conversion price 2. Bought shares themselves 3. Raised yet again at a higher price than the last placing Very positive IMO.

Quite. Anyone moaning about this one needs to give their heads a wobble. #AVCT is replacing Heights with institutional investors. That is exactly what everyone has been craving for many years. Remarkable lack of reaction so far.

Question: Why has the most scientifically literate non-exec member of #AVCT’s board taken part in a placing, 9 weeks into AVA6103, having opted to sit out every historic placing (incl the March 2026 subscription)? Answer: the sustained released of Exatecan in human. Dynamite.

💯 Up until now the market has just been focused on #AVCT’s SGC. We now have TNBC entering the mix.
