More than that, Omen is pointing out what Sage has done for him. He says she has helped him and therefore he's suffering because he cannot do anything for her. While this doesn't mean he wouldn't necessarily like Sage if she hadn't dedicated hours to help him, it's very telling that Omen's suffering is presented with reasons. "She helped me and I can't help her."
Reyna, on the contrary, mentions absolutely no reason to help her. She just claims she will help. And leaves no room for questions. There's no "Sage did so much for me/us". It's unconditional dedication.
And again, it's not about what their reasons are, it's about choice of words. "I help her because she helped me." Versus "I'm gonna help her"
