Forecast dew point temperatures Sunday, May 10th through Thursday, May 21st... Not focused on the specifics, but am very focused on the trend of those higher dew points moving much farther west/northwest than they have been lately. This has been a work in progress due to similar situations that have occurred in California in years past...and the post fire debacle that was the Marshall Fire. Just for reference... Forecast temperature ANOMALY for midday December 1st from the EURO AIFS deterministic model (one member) versus the EURO AIFS ensemble mean (all members of the model)... See the huge difference? Keep the receipts of the forecasters that only use the volatile and often inaccurate (at this range) deterministic versus the more accurate ensemble mean.
